Michael was formerly in private practice as a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist with a special interest in couple psychotherapy.
He is currently visiting consultant at the Priory Hospital in Bristol and has a small private practice at home in Upton Bishop.
He is co-editor of “The Handbook of Psychotherapy” and a variety of papers on psychotherapy topics.
His current interest is Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and he is a founder member of ISTDP-UK which is a new organisation promoting short term psychotherapy in the UK.
